Wow. It's been a week since I've updated! I've been crazy busy. Here are a few from today's shoot with recording artist Matt Stell.

6th Grade Dance

Could a Saturday night in Perryville be any more fun than this?

I don't think so! What a team we had tonight! Kyle, (studio kgm) Cass, and I ran through roughly 80 kids in about 2 hours flat. Ever tried to take a photo of 80 kids at once? I have to say, it was my first. Thank God I had very experienced and patient help! After that, everything was unbelievably smooth.

I am off to Mountain View tomorrow for 2 days of 2008 Seniors! So I will update you all when I return!

Spring

Garvan Gardens

Garvan Gardens was beautiful! We had an exceptional time, and got ton of great pictures for our new friends! I can't wait to show you the bridals, but I'll have to wait until after May 23rd! JoLee looked super gourgeous and she and Derek are one of the cutest couples ever! (And so much fun to work with)

I am so glad I had Cassidy with me. The sun was so bright, but Cass stayed on top of it all. OH! and many thanks to our "limo" driver - Blake (the ladies man!) Who would have ever known golf carts go faster in reverse?!

My first post!

Hey guys! Welcome to the Carrie Jo's Photos Blog Spot. I am not very good about keeping my web site updated (it's not the easiest thing I've ever done) so I thought I could link this to the website and give people a chance to see what is going on in my little world. Just so you know - tomorrow = Garvan Gardens in beautiful Hot Springs, AR! Early morning rising for a road trip with one of my newest "assistants" and best friends, Cassidy. We have a 9am bridal, 11am portraits, and 1:30pm engagements. So check back soon for some extraordinary photos!
For all of those who were not able to sign up for this trip to the Gardens, I will be returning on April 27th & 28th to shoot some that were rained out on Thursday!
